Summer Breeze

I painted Summer Breeze because I love those quiet prairie days when the wind moves through the grass and everything seems to be gently rolling like a blanket. I wanted to capture that feeling of being out in the open, with the big billowing clouds overhead and this single tree standing in the middle of the field. There’s something about that simple scene that feels peaceful and very much like summer in Alberta.
