I painted Undisturbed because there’s something about standing beneath a massive mountain that really puts things into perspective. When you’re looking at a landscape that hasn’t been changed by roads, buildings, or anything else made by people, you realize just how small you are compared to the land around you.

I love those moments when you can be out in the mountains and not see another person for miles. The silence is almost as powerful as the mountains themselves. You’re alone, but at the same time, you feel completely connected to the landscape.

That feeling of being somewhere untouched is what I wanted to capture in this painting.
